When you visit the website, technically necessary data transmitted by your browser is processed: IP address, date and time of access, pages visited, browser type and operating system. This data is used to operate the website securely.
When you send a request via the form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of guests, message) to answer your request and handle a booking. Campaign parameters with which you reached the website (e.g. utm_source, gclid) may also be transmitted with the request.
During a stay, we are legally obliged to register all guests with the police headquarters (Questura, Art. 109 TULPS) and to account for the municipal tourist tax.
Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (request, pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations, e.g. guest registration and retention) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). The legal basis for statistics and marketing services must be reviewed before the website goes live.
During the technical test phase, the cookie notice is informational only and does not control services. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads are used for statistics and campaign measurement. Campaign parameters from the URL (e.g. utm_source or gclid) are stored locally in the browser and transmitted with a request for campaign attribution.
Before the website goes live, the services used, storage periods and legal basis must be reviewed under data-protection law and these details must be finalised accordingly.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager controls the loading of these services. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Fonts are loaded to display the typefaces. In the process, your IP address is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses.
Requests submitted via the form are processed in a booking and request system (PMS) operated on our behalf by an IT service provider based in Italy. Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with our service providers. Data is only passed on to other third parties where necessary to perform the contract (e.g. booking platforms, payment providers) or where there is a legal obligation. Your data is never sold.
The website contains links to Google Maps (route planning) and to our Instagram profile (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). Data is only transferred to the respective provider once you click such a link; the provider’s privacy policy then applies.
Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 24 months at the latest. Booking-related data is kept for the statutory retention periods (usually 10 years under Italian law). Technical access logs are deleted automatically after a short time. You can delete campaign parameters stored in your browser at any time; they are removed automatically if you withdraw your consent.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing. You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
